mt-closure is a command-line tool for closing comments and TrackBack pings open for a specified period of time. Run regularly with a system utility such as cron, this practice can reduce a blog's potential vulnerability to spamming.
NOTE: This plugin was written some time ago and is need of a refresh to support things such as pages and perhaps tags that debuted in recent versions.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Movable Type 2.5 or better is required to use this script.
